Solidifying Our Mission & Forging Ahead!

It has been quite a while since I (Yvonne) have written a blog post for our team. I have been pressing in for months now for the grace but now is the time! Since January, I have been reflecting on what has happened (and is happening). The Lord has had me focus surprisingly on a deeper understanding of times and seasons as well as the power, purpose and function of alignment.

As I wrote in a previous blog post, at the beginning of 2018, I had an open vision of angels with blue-colored sashes blowing trumpets in our city. I had a sense that I had stepped back into Revolutionary War times and that I was standing in a General’s tent where strategies were being forged on how to take the city. Fast-forward to the end of 2018, I was prompted by the Lord to write a book about these key prophetic encounters that have been transpiring over the last 30 years as they have been tied to Awakening, Harvest and City Transformation. The reason—He was about to do it again!

Passover to Pentecost 2019

What you would not have known is that I actually finished the book and sent it off to the publishing company during Passover 2019 (5779). A few days thereafter, I heard the Lord “summon me to Pentecost.” It took me a few more days to realize that the celebration He wanted me to attend was actually being held in Jerusalem.

A heavenly perspective on the 400th “anniversary” of slavery in America

By Yvonne Denise

Awakening is at hand!

I am an American of African descent who “happens” to have been born on Flag Day in Philadelphia during the height of the Civil Rights Movement. I honor our flag, as the Lord has used it as a banner of remembrance of our nation’s covenantal and prophetic destiny; I honor my birthplace as it was founded by William Penn who was a godly man who asked the Lord to establish this nation in his colony; and I honor the era that I was born into. This era has been one of great turbulence, but it has stirred within me a hunger for social justice and a passion for prayer. I was that kid who always asked either “why” or “why not.” I believe that has been a part of my prophetic destiny: to understand times and seasons.

As such, the Lord has taken me on a prophetic journey through the annals of history, particularly the times surrounding the past Great Awakenings. I’ve stepped through time with the first reformers, the Waldensians of Italy, then also the Moravians of Germany, Pennsylvania and North Carolina, and to the beginnings of the second Great Awakening through the eyes of Rev. James McGready and the congregants of his three river churches in Logan County, Kentucky. (The Lord has also taken me to some of the nations/regions of my ancestors including: Ghana, England, France, Germany, and Korea.) He had me write many of these adventures, these God stories, into a book that was just released entitled An Oak of Righteousness: Grafting the Seeds of Destiny into the Root of Covenant. This book showcases His signposts that “speak loudly” that He is about to do it again—another Great Awakening, the Greatest, Great Awakening is at hand!

There was a sense of urgency in His instruction to me to write; and as I traveled again this past January back to the Settlement of Jamestown, one of the covenant roots of this nation, I understood why. The arrival of the first ship carrying African slaves to this British-occupied territory occurred in the year 1619, and this August would mark the 400th year.

Riding the Wind: The Trumpets are Sounding – RHM 2018 Outreaches & Much More!

Riding the Wind: The Trumpets are sounding!

I (Yvonne) had an open vision at the beginning of January 2018 of angels with blue sashes blowing trumpets over and in Uptown Charlotte. At the end of that vision, I heard “Ride the Wind!” (More about the vision.)

After our two weekend outings to Dare and Onslow Counties, we literally rode the wind to Fairfax County, VA on March 2nd to honor one of our team members plus our founding fathers – George Washington and George Mason. We departed Charlotte on the day of Billy Graham’s funeral and there was a strong Nor’easter that blew through Charlotte and up through the Eastern states. We stopped half way on our journey to rest and then ventured forward to worship and pray over this historic area in a Jewish Community Center.

Later that month, we also were blessed to return to The Upper Room Coffeehouse in Statesville (Iredell County) on St. Patrick’s day. (We are returning again on Saturday, February 16th – if you are in the area, please join us!)

We then traveled onto His Gates International (John & Camrin Harris) in Western North Carolina to celebrate Passover and to join forces to prophetically and prayerfully walk the land.

Then in May, we were able to honor our military once again.

Responding to the Vision

But, in addition to our normal Strategic Prayer Outings and E4M Equipping Services, we purposed to specifically and directly respond to the angelic visitation over our city.

Two major outreach clusters were planned and executed.

  • Kids Praise in the Park and Relationship Building Activities – see page 2
  • Releasing Joy in Our City – Outdoor Worship & Prayer Watch, Romare Bearden Park (and the various Equipping activities) – see page 3

Also, on p. 4, check out a brief update of some signposts the Lord planted in 2018 for what lies ahead!

Colleges & Universities

Psalm 145:4 (CJB): Each generation will praise your works to the next and proclaim your mighty acts.

A Decade of Prophecies

For the past 10 years or so, there have been increasing numbers of prophecies about the revival /awakening that would hit the college campuses. Here is the link to one given in September 2017 in Charlotte by Dutch Sheets and Chuck Pierce.

We know that this revival / awakening will be multi-generational. God named Himself the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And He gives commands and makes promises that are generational.

Several on our team have been positively impacted by either campus ministries or other ministries and churches that embraced the next generation. I (Yvonne) know for me personally, my college years brought both a pit and a palace – the prodigal unleashed and then guilt and shame with the Lord wooing me back all the while. The Lord is faithful and He is a Redeemer.

Many of our natural and spiritual sons and daughters are also shaken during these college years and some ”lose” their faith when bombarded with the humanistic and philosophical teaching of their college professors. It is interesting to note that several of these great battlegrounds fueling hatred for Christianity today were founded as schools to train up ministers of the gospel.

Rise Up Spiritual Fathers & Mothers

So the Lord has impressed upon us and released us to arise and be His voice as spiritual fathers and mothers to the next generations. As Hannah Sheets (Dutch Sheets’ daughter) recently taught us, the Millennials need our voice of wisdom – they need to be taught how to “sit with the Lord under the tree of covenant”. She also noted that these generations also need to not be mocked – or else we indeed will have what we say. The Lord has placed within these generations a passion for social justice – “they were born to be an answer to the chaos!” So let us embrace them, honor them and be taught by Holy Spirit about how to run TOGETHER with them.

Prayer-Walking the land!

So here are some pictures of our team prayer-walking the campuses in our territory – pulling down strongholds, crying out to comfort and protect, digging up prophetic promises, releasing the wind that will draw us together to advance His kingdom and releasing the sound that will establish them in the land.

Israel Prayer Mission 2018

We did not achieve enough registrations for a tour but we know this year is pivotal to the Lord’s plan for Kingdom Harvest. So we sent two on a prayer mission to honor Israel’s 70th Anniversary and President Trump’s move of the US Embassy to Jerusalem!

Mission accomplished!!!

Riding The Wind: Dare & Onslow Counties, NC – January 2018

From Beginnings to Going Beyond!

Dare County – Land of Beginnings

This year we chose Dare County  (the easternmost county within our immediate  territory) to spend an extended weekend in for two reasons: 1)  it is the location within our territory that was “our beginning” of becoming the USA; and 2) it is a place where we could “go beyond” to add our prayers for redemption, reconciliation, & restoration for the First Peoples of our region, the Europeans, and the enslaved & then freed Africans (see Stories from Fort Raleigh). More history notes can be found at these links for: the Croatoans, an Algonquian tribethe story of the Lost Colony and Virginia Dare for whom the county was named; and the Freedmen Colony. As We Are At This Crossroad – A Look Back

2017-2018 Crossroad

As we are at this crossroad between 2017 and 2018, we acknowledge our God’s (Father, Son and Holy Spirit’s) covenantal love towards us and our great daily need for His Presence, His revelation,  His voice, His grace, His shalom, and His strength. We also extend our gratitude to Chuck Pierce, Global Spheres and Glory of Zion for their apostolic-prophetic-intercessory covering.

We submit afresh to our call to “Worship~Prayer~Outreach” not only to the nations but to our city, our territory and our own nation. We decree and declare that we will obey His Word and Holy Spirit, will walk through the gates and open double door of His promises, and with His help and that of His angel armies, we will do our part to defeat the devil and change the world!

We will continue our mission to bring forth treasures that have been hidden in the darkness!! Continue reading As We Are At This Crossroad – A Look Back

Releasing The Lord’s Jackhammer in Iredell County

January – June 2017 – Statesville &The Upper Room

In January, I began to spy out the land in Iredell County to look for a place to do Worship. And behold, right there in Statesville, the county seat for Iredell County, on one of the main thoroughfares of the Historic Downtown area is The Upper Room Coffee House – Band Venue and High School & College Ministry.  Amazing!

Chuck and Dutch – Word for Colleges & Universities in The Carolinas – September 2017

“Unlocking the Winds of Glory” – Chuck & Dutch @ CPCC

While Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets ministered at the “Unlocking the Winds of Glory” Gathering here in Charlotte, they both loosed confirming words about our area colleges & universities.

Transcript excerpt:

Chuck: “I will change the voice of the universities of this land. I will bring them before national attention and their voice will sound differently than what they have sounded in the past. I say watch, for My wind will enter everything that says university and college in the Carolinas.” Continue reading Chuck and Dutch – Word for Colleges & Universities in The Carolinas – September 2017
