Mission Haiti -December 2013

Happy New Year & Happy Independence Day! Whom the Son has set free is free indeed!

While in final planning for the trip, I (Yvonne) strongly felt impressed by Holy Spirit to stay until January 1st even though the lead team from MHJ Missions was returning home on December 31st. I first thought it was because of the civil new year but then I discovered just before departing Charlotte that January 1 was the day that Haiti was birthed as an independent nation. And another prophetess had given me this word just a few days prior: “God has given you governmental authority; He is sending you there to uproot an old tree, something that has been in the ground for a long time”.

Issuing another decree!

During last month’s Firstfruits Celebration (month of Tevet), Robert Heidler taught on the book of Esther because it was in this month that she became Queen of Persia. Several things struck me anew:  1) the month of Tevet held the darkest day of the month and then you enter on the path of ever-increasing light (those days set for our trip) and 2) the king’s first decree to destroy the Jews was immutable but through Esther and the people’s fasting and prayers, the king issued another decree!

So we (Angel Miller and I) went in the name of the Lord to Haiti to issue another decree in the days of ever-increasing light that: Jesus is Lord over Haiti and that Haiti was bought with a price, the precious blood of the Lamb! From that first night on, we daily entered into worship & prayer, releasing His light and His love and welcoming Holy Spirit to come and hover over the people and the land.

Ever-increasing light!

And Chuck Pierce gave messages/words during December about being ministers of light. Holy Spirit quickened to me through those words that He indeed was sending us to Haiti –  to uplift, refresh and enlighten His people – and in due time, He will sift the wheat from the tares.

And beyond our expectation, we were able to minister to all who crossed our paths: the high school students who had come to bring Christmas presents to children; their teachers; the owner and staff of the guesthouse; our drivers and interpreters; children in the orphanages, the Tent City, at the clinic and hospital; the family who used to live in a small crevice of a collapsed building; to the evangelist we particularly came to see; and then to the family who owned and ran the orphanage in Archaie who have a heart of gold and a praying mother.

And in the worst circumstances…amongst even the sickest children…the love of the Lord could be seen and felt. And words of life and encouragement were released….to the evangelist, “God is not angry with Haiti; Jesus died on the cross and said it is finished!, we who believe must stand in that authority like Jesus and bring light into the darkness”… to the young prophet, “Haiti will be a sign and wonder to the world that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever!”…and to the praying mother, “We are here to agree with your prayers for a new day dawning in Haiti!”

A powerful testimony of His Goodness

The evangelist we visited shared with us this testimony as she received the word that God was not angry with Haiti and that He is a good God who loves the Haitian people and who desires all nations to come and worship together for eternity:

“On the day of the earthquake I was home resting and I heard this voice say to me, ‘Get up and leave.’ So I got up and went down to the pharmacy to purchase a few items. And as I left the store, the earthquake struck and my home was completely destroyed. I knew that voice had saved me.”

So we then started the mp3 player we brought  with us and we began to worship and pray.  And Rose Marie burst forth in songs of praise and adoration to Big Papa, the Big God that saved her!

A Visitation and An Invitation from the LORD

Within seconds, a tangible Presence literally came walking in on what felt like a road that extended out from our praises. I watched as awe came over our interpreter – he quietly gasped and his eyes opened wide. Rose Marie jumped up, twirling, singing, and waving her hands!

And so we welcomed King Jesus and declared Him Lord over Haiti. And we continued in worship until there was a knock on the door saying that we had to leave in 10 minutes.  WOW!

Before we parted, Rose Marie grabbed my hand and asked if we would return. She told us that many say that they will but never do.  She told us that she had a friend that had some land and that we could get a tent so that all the people in the area could come and worship our Good Papa God!

We felt that the Lord showing up was His invitation to us as well!!  We had already received several prophetic words before this trip that we would have a significant impact on the restoration of this nation.

So we accepted and are returning.  A small advance team will be going in December 2014 to prepare the way  but then an extended team including our Worship Leader and Ministry Team Leader will be going in February 2015.

Please note that we are aware of the pact that the leaders of Haiti made with Satan to receive their independence during a time of great distress – the atrocities suffered by the people of Haiti were severe.  But the Lord has authorized us to issue ANOTHER DECREE – just like the King did at  Esther’s request.  The LORD has extended His scepter of favor to the nation of Haiti!

All authority has been given…

We are coming into the season of the Lamb, the place of fellowship with the Lamb of Jesus, into fellowship with the saints, into Kingdom … come into a place of victory, champions of the Living God, to overcome, to become faithful and true witnesses, to have testimonies to stand and manifest what God has built us for in this season.

…Chapter 14’s are chapters of breakthrough for deliverance; you may breakthrough for another’s deliverance – the 1st  chapter 14, Abram rescued Lot and was met by Melchizedek; the 2nd chapter 14, the Red Sea parted and Israel went through; 3rd chapter 14, deliverance was declared for cleansing lepers…and then the final chapter 14:

Rev 14:1: Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their forehead… These have been redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb… 4 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, “Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.”

It’s time for the harvest!

We are the laborers! It’s time for the harvest!

We put on our full armor and we go after the harvest!
