Crossing Over into the New Year: Staking Our Future & Responding to War!
Since aligning with Chuck Pierce, Robert Heidler and Glory of Zion International, I once again look forward to celebrating the Lord’s commanded feasts, His “appointed times” to meet with His people. In October we celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles (Deut. 16:13; Lev. 23:39; Zech 14:16-19; John 7), which is a time to look back with gratitude on God’s deliverance, provision and His presence with Israel in the wilderness; but we also look forward to the time to come when Jesus will return to permanently tabernacle with us. Before this feast comes the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) which marks a new year on God’s calendar and Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement), Since the beginning as described in Genesis 1:14. the Lord God has used the “lights in the expanse of heaven” … “for signs and for seasons and for days and years” and we have crossed over into a new year on God’s calendar.
5776 – The Year of Ayin Vav – Seeing & Staking
The numbering of the year holds prophetic meaning for the Jewish people. Hebrew numbers are represented by Hebrew letters and Hebrew letters are prophetic pictures of what the year promises. It is a blessing to enter into all of the revelatory signs the Lord has provided for us (Eph. 1:18-19; Eph. 2:13-22).
The Hebrew letters for this new year, the year 5776, are “Ayin” which is the picture of an eye & “Vav” which is the picture of a connecting pin or a stake. As Robert Heidler recently taught, “the eye represents the prophetic season that we are in – watching and seeing are Ayin words. It is also a picture of God watching over us – For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His (2 Chron 16:9, NASB). This is a year God is looking for those committed to him so he can show Himself strong….The vav or connecting pin holds things together, joins things. The first use of vav in Scripture is Gen 1:1, in the beginning God created the heavens ‘vav’ earth. So this is a year for heaven to invade earth. What does that mean? God shows up with power!” .
It is also a Year of War
Chuck Pierce’s exhortation this past Sunday about our needed faith-filled response to the horrific terrorist attacks in Paris, France brought back to my remembrance the vision I had at our Worship & Prayer Gathering in August. In that vision, I saw a community in wartime as in the 40s & 50s wherein there was a rallying community-wide war effort . Everyone supported one another but they had a common goal – “complete the mission!“.(Read more.) And we are seeing that solidarity begin to form globally as we rally in support of France. And locally we have recently seen this rallying spirit spring up as we watched churches and ministries pull together for both the Outreach in Camp Sutton in October and Raise You Up Ministries’ Outreach in Uptown Charlotte.last weekend. O Lord, Make us ONE by Your Spirit!

Mission Haiti 2016
We will return to Haiti in April 2016 to sow into the Education Mountain there. Please pray with us and consider donating as we do our part to restore His glory to Haiti. Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:13-14.

Join us this Saturday, November 21st from 6:00 – 9:00 PM for our next“Staking Our Future” Worship & Prayer Gathering – The Nest at Songbird Studio, 245 W. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC (Gaston County)
The Gathering is free and there is free parking. We will be praying for Gaston County!
